On the Trail of Champlain: Riverscapes
Robert Hinchley & other artists

Showcasing the Instructors
Group show

Vernissage: July 19, 4-8 pm

The Pontiac School of the Arts proudly presents the works of this year’s instructors in the upper gallery. Showcasing the Instructors will give you a glimpse into the wide range of courses being offered this year at the school.

In the lower gallery, On the Trail of Champlain: Riverscapes is a unique exhibition of plein air paintings of the Ottawa River, many of which were created using paints made with 17th century techniques. A true celebration of Champlain’s explorations in our region featuring artist and teacher Robert Hinchley and a must see for painters and history buffs alike.

Join us for the opening vernissage, July 19, 4-8 pm. The shows continue until August 11. The gallery is open Saturdays and Sundays, 11 am to 4 pm.
